mira in AI assistants
Effective: 27 October 2026
mira is the chat and booking assistant of appointment businesses: salons, clinics, studios and more. Its connector lets people book those businesses from ChatGPT, Claude and other AI apps, and lets business owners run their mira account by chatting.
Connect
- Server URL:
https://www.bookwithmira.com/api/mcp(Streamable HTTP, Model Context Protocol) - Claude (web, desktop, mobile): Settings → Connectors → find mira in the directory, or Add custom connector and paste the URL.
- ChatGPT: find mira in the app directory, or in Developer mode create a connector with the URL.
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http mira https://www.bookwithmira.com/api/mcp - Grok, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients: add a remote (HTTP) MCP connector with the URL.
Booking needs no account. Business tools ask the owner to sign in to mira the first time one is used.
Book an appointment
Ask your assistant, for example: “Book a haircut at Studio Bella on Friday afternoon” or “Can I book studiobella.hu through mira?”. Only businesses that turned on “Bookable from AI assistants” can be found. You choose the time; mira emails you a 6-digit code, and the booking is made only when you give your assistant that code. The confirmation email has a link to move or cancel.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
find_business | Find a business that books through mira, by name, website, service or town. |
get_business | Services, prices, staff, locations, opening hours and booking rules. |

request_booking | Start a booking; mira emails the customer a 6-digit code. |

Run your business
Owners of a mira account sign in with their mira email and approve the app. The app then works on that one business only, with the same rules as the mira dashboard. Try: “Help me set up mira”, “Who is booked tomorrow?”, “Move Eszter's appointment to Thursday 10:00” or “Which chats need a reply?”.

Safety and privacy
- Only account owners can connect an app, and can disconnect it any time in Settings → AI assistants.
- Apps never see card details or sign-in codes. Payments happen on Stripe's pages.
- Owners can't be added or removed through an app, and every owner is emailed when an app changes the team, the notification email or the allowed websites.
- Anything that emails a customer (bookings, replies) is meant to be confirmed with you first, and customers' own text is treated as data, never as instructions.
- How we handle data: Privacy Policy (section 3.10) and Terms.
